We woke up today to news that temporarily left us with our hearts in our mouths. On October 4th, a series of five consecutive earthquakes struck in close succession near Saimbeyli in Adana and the neighboring Sumbas district of Osmaniye. While back-to-back tremors naturally cause a wave of anxiety, the swift official updates offered much-needed relief: initial site assessments confirmed that no casualties or physical damage have been reported.
My heart goes out to all the residents and families affected by today’s quakes. While nature’s timing remains unpredictable, our shared resilience and vigilance keep us grounded. Thinking of everyone in the region and wishing you all safety and peace of mind!
